A. Bradley Mims has served as a transportation professional in government and the private sector for over 40 years. As a government relations specialist with a multi-modal transportation background, Mr. Mims holds a special affinity for the aviation industry. He presently serves as President of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), an advocacy organization which promotes opportunities for minority and minority-owned businesses in the transportation industry. He recently served as transportation and infrastructure advisor to the Mid-Atlantic Laborers' Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET). Previously, Mr. Mims served as Vice President - Aviation Market Leader for Parsons Brinckerhoff and as Senior Associate for the Transportation Group at Booz/Allen/Hamilton. He also served in the Clinton Administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Mims served as Congressional Liaison for the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum and the National African American Museum. He also served on Capitol Hill for more than 12 years as transportation staffer to Congressmen John Lewis of Georgia and Julian Dixon of California. Mr. Mims holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Allegheny College and is a former Member of the Board of the Central Maryland Regional Transportation Authority, former Member of the Board of Directors of COMTO, former Member of the Board of Directors for the Airport Consultants Council, and former Board Member of the Maryland Transportation Authority. He is an appointee of the Governor of Maryland.
Mr. Mims is Co-Chair of the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Dulles Corridor, Executive and Governance, Human Resources, Nominations, Strategic Development, and Sustainability Committees.
