The Airports Authority's Employee Volunteer Program is a key part of our community engagement efforts, empowering employees to give back to local non-profits, schools, and organizations. This program reflects our commitment to strengthening the communities around our airports and fostering a culture of volunteerism through hands-on service.

Our goal is to provide students with direct access to industry professionals by creating opportunities for them to explore career paths within the airport and aviation industry.

In 2023, the Airports Authority's Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Impact (DISI) successfully launched the Youth Art Walk at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport.

This initiative was made possible through impactful collaborations with various organizations, including, D.C. Public Schools, the Capital City (DC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, McLean Project for the Arts, and Fairfax County Public Schools. By strategically partnering with these organizations, we provide exhibition space for short-term displays that highlight exceptional student artwork.
