It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (Airports Authority). You are now part of an organization that continually strives to improve its efficiency, customer focus, and level of service at Ronald Reagan Washington National and Washington Dulles International Airports, as well as the Metrorail Project Office and Dulles Toll Road. Employee and Payroll Forms
Onboarding forms will be emailed to you in advance of orientation. They are designed, along with other onboarding components, to support your transition into the organization. Please print, complete and bring the forms with you to your orientation.
Benefits
For eligible employees, benefits information will be emailed to you in advance of orientation and a copy will be provided during orientation. Eligible employees may enroll in benefits through Employee Self-Service (Workday) within their first 31 days of employment.
Badge Form
Airports Authority employees who have access to security controlled areas of the airport must obtain an identification badge as part of the airports compliance with the Transportation Security Administration’s regulations and requirements. Even though you need to obtain your badge as soon as possible, you may not obtain your badge prior to your start date. Instructions on how to obtain your badge, once you begin work, are as follows:

Download the applicable Badge and ID Application Information, DCA (Reagan National / Corporate Office) or IAD (Dulles International). Complete the form online and print it as a two-sided document.

Sign it and obtain a signature from a Signatory Authority (your supervisor can guide you).

Print and complete the Fingerprint Application Form from the same page.

Bring both forms, along with two forms of identification, to the Fingerprinting office and complete applicable training.

Once you have completed training, proceed to the Pass and ID office and present your documents to the agent. You will have your picture taken and be issued a badge.
Orientation
Orientation is part of the onboarding process and generally occurs on the employee’s first day of work. Topics covered include the following:

Overview of the Airports Authority and Human Resources Basic Information.

Time & Attendance and Self-Service Training.

Ethics Training.
-
Police Department Information.
-
Emergency Preparedness Information.

Technology: Computer Use and Security Information.

Collection of Payroll Documents and review of identification for the I-9 Form.
