The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is committed to assuring all of its patrons that it does not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. In addition, as an operator of public accommodations, the Airports Authority is committed to strict compliance with the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act and, as a federal grantee, with the requirements of the Rehabilitation Act, which are intended to assure that persons with disabilities do not suffer discrimination. This section contains more information about the Airports Authority’s legal obligations under these federal civil rights laws, including information about how an airport patron may file a complaint if a patron feels that he or she has been a victim of discrimination on the Authority’s facilities.
