Introduction

The Summer Intern Program provides short-term assistance to Airports Authority Offices and allows Summer Interns opportunity to gain on-the-job experience. In addition to the work they produce, Summer Interns are a potential recruitment source for full-time positions.

Airports Authority Summer Interns are hired from local and non-local universities.

Employment Period

Thank you for your interest in the Summer Intern Program with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Unfortunately, the 2025 program has been cancelled as we focus on expanding our skilled trades Apprenticeship Program and Professional Development Associate Program for these years. At this time, we are unable to confirm when the Summer Intern Program might resume.
