Weekend lane closures begin in April; 233 Bridge and George Washington Parkway Northbound and Southbound Airport Ramps Affected
Traffic to and from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport will be impacted by weekend resurfacing of the Route 233 Bridge and two ramps to the George Washington Memorial Parkway beginning on or about Friday, April 1.
The National Park Service and the Federal Highway Administration will perform milling and paving work on the bridge that connects Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to Route 1/ Jefferson Davis Highway in Crystal City. Additionally, nearby ramps to the northbound and southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway will be resurfaced, requiring periodic closures.

Roadway resurfacing work will be performed during approximately five weekends beginning the evening of Friday, April 1. The details of each weekend closure will be posted at www.flyreagan.com.

When completed, the Park Service and Federal Highway Administration construction project will allow for better access to and from the airport and include safety improvements to sidewalks and trails for pedestrians.
