Project
Summary:

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision for the reconstruction of the north section of runway 1C-19C and associated taxiways Y, Y2, Y3, Y4, and Y5 at Washington Dulles International Airport. The work also includes the reconstruction and widening of Taxiway Y at Y3 & Y4 intersection and relocation of the vehicle service road west of Runway 1C-19C. Associated work includes, but is not limited to bituminous shoulder pavements, pavement markings, surface and subsurface drainage, grading, airfield lighting and signage, runway status lighting, electrical and communication utilities, stormwater pollution prevention, sanitary sewer replacement, maintenance of air and vehicle traffic, AOA fencing and gate improvements.

DBE
Goal:

This federally funded project has a 26% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal. A DBE is defined as a firm that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more social and economically disadvantaged individual(s). DBE firms eligible to participate in this Project must be DBE certified by the Virginia Unified Certification Program (the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise are the certifying entities of the VUCP), in accordance with US Department of Transportation regulations in 49 CFR Part 26.
