Small Business University: Empowering Growth & Contract Readiness with MWAA
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (Airports Authority) in partnership with our university and small business partners delivers Small Business University to support the small business community. This program is designed to help participants increase their company’s business operations strategy and to prepare them for eligibility for prime contracts. The 13-week program covers critical topics to help businesses grow including industry marketing, operations, and being a successful partner with the Airports Authority. The course is free of charge; however, participants must meet minimum requirements to receive a certificate.
Course Objectives
• Develop Business Strategies: Learn how to implement effective strategies and best practices to scale operations, drive business development, and boost sales.
• Government Marketing: Gain the skills to market products and services effectively to government agencies.
• Navigate Procurement Processes: Understand how to successfully engage with the Airports Authority and compete for prime contracts.
