The Contracting Opportunities Online website provides comprehensive project information and documents for construction, architectural and engineering, goods services. and concessions opportunities with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. The information contained within the site is updated on a daily basis in order to provide the latest, most complete project information available. Submission of Bids, Proposals and Other Solicitation Responses
Responses to solicitations shall be submitted prior to the deadline specified in the solicitation through the solicitation's submission portal.
Small and Minority Business Programs
The Authority has a variety of programs designed to maximize the opportunities for small, disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned business enterprises when competing for Authority contracts, adopted a policy to encourage reasonable efforts whenever possible to offer employment to qualified veterans, including the disabled, by the Authority, its contractors and subcontractors.

The Airports Authority has adopted a policy to encourage reasonable efforts whenever possible to offer employment to qualified veterans, including the disabled, by the Authority, its contractors and subcontractors.
Living Wage Program
The Airports Authority has adopted a Living Wage Program. With the adoption of Resolution 22-38, the Board established a living wage rate of $16.00 for all current and prospective Authority Personnel-Based Service Contracts, effective January 1, 2024. The Board further established that this amount shall be adjusted each January 1 thereafter based on the annual change in the Employment Cost Index (ECI) for wages and salaries for the Washington-Baltimore-Arlington, DC-MD-VA-WV-PA Combined Statistical Area (CSA) determined as of the end of the 2nd Quarter (June 30) of the prior calendar year.
The annual change in the ECI for the Washington-Baltimore-Arlington, DC-MD-VA-WV-PA CSA as of June 30, 2024, is 4.9%. As such, effective January 1, 2025, all current and prospective Airports Authority Personnel-Based Service Contracts, as the term is defined in the Administrative Procedures, shall reflect a $16.78 living wage rate.
