Student Employment Program Information
- Reagan National Airport
- Student Intern
- The Office of Business Administration seeks a Student Intern at either a senior undergraduate-level or graduate-level to work in the Risk Management department. Responsibilities include assisting with claims processing, safety administration, Risk Management research and Business Continuity administration. Internet research, writing and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) skills are required.
The selected candidate will work 20+ hours per week from October through December 27 at a pay rate of $12.37/hour (Undergraduate-level) or $17.36/hour (Graduate-level). Open until filled.
- Student Ambassador
- Currently no Student Ambassador positions are available at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
- Dulles International Airport
- Currently no Student Intern or Student Ambassador positions are available at Dulles International Airport.
Program Requirements
- You must be enrolled as a student at an accredited High School, or university/college to participate in the Airports Authority’s Student Employment Program. In addition, you must be at least 17 years of age and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Current transcripts are required as part of the application process.
Significance of Transcripts
- Transcripts not only verify that a student is current and in good academic standing, they also signal at what level a student should be paid (e.g. High School, Undergraduate, or Graduate). Once a student presents a transcript that reflects/verifies that he/she is a student at the next higher level, the Office of Human Resources will adjust their pay accordingly.
