Calling All Students!
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority employs students in a variety of jobs during the fall or spring employment periods of the school year and during summer months. Our goal is to hire students with solid academic backgrounds and place them in positions that allow development or refinement of job skills while maximizing their exposure to careers in airport management. Jobs are available at Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports. During the spring or fall employment period (term), students may work up to 20 hours each week; during summer term, the student workweek expands to 40 hours.

| Positions established to incorporate the skills of Graduate or Undergraduate students in a work unit’s efforts to achieve its annual performance goals. Efforts are made to match job assignments with a student’s functional area of interest. These positions are available during the spring, summer and fall terms. | |||

| Positions established to provide structured assignments for Graduate and Undergraduate students working under a Cooperative Education Agreement between their university/college and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. High School students help passengers comply with security inspections, find lost luggage, locate cars and navigate through Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports. | High School |

- The above-listed pay schedule applies to students beginning employment on or after January 7, 2008. Students who were employed prior to January 7, 2008, will maintain their present job titles, salaries, and job codes until June 8, 2008. At that time, the Office of Human Resources will change students’ job titles, salaries, and pay codes to reflect those listed in the above table.
Term Appointments
- All students, except Student Ambassadors, will be hired consistent with terms specified. Students may deviate from the start and end dates by exception.

- The Office of Human Resources administers all student employment programs.
Benefits
- Student benefit includes the Metropool Program. The program allows you to receive up to $115 per month as a subsidy when using public transit, such as Metro media.
