| The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking qualifications submittals from professional security consultants to furnish all labor, including all required professional expertise, facilities, equipment, and materials to review the 2002 security and threat assessment report and assumptions against current requirements. The security consultant would also review status of initiatives undertaken and recommended in 2002 and recommend initiatives for feasibility in today’s paradigm. The detailed scope of work will be developed in conjunction with the selected firm and will require, among other things, site investigation and analysis and review and knowledge in the following areas: deterrent strategy, perimeter security, physical security enhancements, communications centers, 100% employee screening, employee and contractor background checks, security staffing, security-related IT systems, security implications of Capital Construction Program, and integration with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). |
